The UNESCO-listed Loire Valley begins some 200 km south-west of Paris. By private car, allow 2 h to 2 h 15 to Chambord on the A10 — the only realistic way to see two or three châteaux in a single day without train connections or a group's pace.
The classic route pairs Chambord, François I's colossus with its double-helix staircase, and Chenonceau, the « château of the Ladies » spanning the Cher. Depending on your taste, we swap in or add Amboise and Clos Lucé, Leonardo da Vinci's final home, or Cheverny. Your driver adjusts the route live: if one château holds you an extra hour, nothing is rushed.

Are château entrance tickets included?
No. The quote covers transport, the driver and his waiting time. We send you the official ticketing links — booking online spares you the queues, especially in summer.
How many châteaux fit in one day?
Two comfortably, three at a brisk pace. Chambord and Chenonceau each deserve 1.5 to 2 hours; adding Clos Lucé or Cheverny works with an early start.
Does the driver join the visit?
No — he drives, waits and helps you plan. Commented visits inside the monuments are the work of licensed guides; we can recommend one if you wish.
Can more than four of us travel?
Yes: the premium van seats up to seven with their belongings. Beyond that, we provide a second vehicle.
Can the itinerary be customised?
